Grievance Redressal Policy

Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, SAATHYA is required to publish the contact details of its Grievance Officer and the mechanism for redressal of complaints. This page sets out that mechanism.

1. Grievance Officer

Our Grievance Officer is responsible for receiving and resolving complaints related to content, data, or conduct on the SAATHYA platform.

2. Grounds for a Complaint

You may raise a grievance relating to:

  • Unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content posted by a brand or creator.
  • Infringement of your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property.
  • Violation of your privacy or personal data rights under the DPDP Act.
  • Misconduct, harassment, or fraud by another user of the platform.

3. How to File a Complaint

Send an email to grievance@saathya.in with the subject line "Grievance Complaint". Include your name, contact details, the campaign or profile URL at issue, and a clear description of your concern along with any supporting evidence.

4. Timelines

In line with the IT Rules, 2021:

  • We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours of receipt.
  • A reasoned response or resolution is provided within 15 days of receipt.
  • If a complaint is escalated to the Data Protection Board of India, we will cooperate fully with the proceedings.

5. Escalation

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India or the relevant authority under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
